FORT WILLIAM IS 100TH WORLD CUP EVER

Martin Whiteley (23 Degrees Sports Management, ex–Honda G Cross main man, Global Racing, etc., etc.) knows pretty much everything there is to know about World Cup racing (well almost). Anyway, he has just informed us that the Fort William World Cup, that takes place this June, will be the 100th World Cup race held since they started way back in 1993. An historic occasion for sure. Here is the rundown:


1993 = 6

1994 = 6

1995 = 6

1996 = 6

1997 = 6

1998 = 8

1999 = 8

2000 = 8

2001 = 8

2002 = 5

2003 = 5

2004 = 6

2005 = 8

2006 = 6

2007 = 5


Total = 97


Maribor is 98

Vallnord is 99

Fort William is 100th.
